This is where the Old World traditions like carriage rides and haystacks blend with the fun of roller coasters and luxury resorts. Take a look around and go where the country air takes you. Stop by Hunters Valley Wineries for fresh, affordable and tasty wine for all occasions.

Then stock up on some much-needed outdoor accessories at Blue Mountain Outfitters . They're experts on canoes, kayaks and all kinds of paddling accessories. Now that you're stocked on outdoors stuff, learn about one of the country's most famous nature trails at the Appalachian Trail Museum . Visit Kempton's Hawk Mountain and see the world's first refuge for birds of prey.

This is the area Hersheypark  and the Hershey Story calls home. So you chocolate lovers may want to prepare your bellies for a day of sweet indulgence. If you're more into four-wheeled eye candy, be sure to check the Carlisle Events collector car show schedule at the Carlisle PA Fairgrounds, where auto enthusiasts from near and far come to show off their cars, trucks and classics. 

And for a different kind of family fun, there's Dutch Wonderland with its winding roller coasters and summertime treats. The Amish Village turns back the clock to the 1800s. They even have an authentic 1840s Amish farmhouse for you to explore and an Amish Crafts shop where you'll find handmade goods.

Then, check out the history of time and timepieces at the National Watch & Clock Museum . After that, make a pit stop at the Vanity Fair Outlets for great deals on your favorite brands. The Harley-Davidson Factory is a great place to see how America's favorite motorcycles are made. Stop by for a tour. Or, walk in the footsteps of Civil War soldiers at the Civil War Trails . From battlefields to museums and historical interpreters, these guys know how to bring history to life. If you're near Harrisburg, visit the Civil War Museum , the only museum that portrays both sides of the Civil War, or stop by our State Capitol for a tour.

Then, make a stop at Chambersburg's Heritage Center for some history and ghost stories. That'll make for an interesting night's sleep once you reach the bed & breakfast.
